Local Jacksonvillians are passionate about sports and when I say "passionate," I mean we’re a little nuts! We are home to the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars (who won this weekend…hurrah!), Double-A Jacksonville Suns and our local rubgy team, the Jacksonville Axemen. We’ve also shined on national and international stages hosting numerous events, such as Super Bowl XXXIX, collegiate football, basketball and baseball match ups, large-scale golf and fishing tournaments, international rugby league events and more.
As any world-class sports city, we’re ready for a new challenge…FIFA World Cup. The United States is supporting a bid for 2018 or 2022 and Jacksonville is eager to be a host city. Help support Jacksonville’s bid and sign the following petition today!

It's cool to create a backyard habitat for bees and hummingbirds and butterflies, and is pretty amazing how much life just a small butterfly garden can have. We went to talk to expert Mark from Treehill Nature Center in Jacksonville Florida. Treehill is known for its yearly butterfly festival and Mark knows what plants you need to use. From afar it doesn't look that difficult, but when you take a closer look, you'll realize that kitesurfing takes a lot of coordination. It was a beautiful day at the beach.
