Dust off that Igloo cooler and pull your teal and black out of the laundry bin - it’s game time, people! Commence tailgating (an art taken very seriously by yours truly) this Saturday, August 8, as the Jacksonville Jaguars take the field for their first scrimmage of the season.
Bring your friends and family (Michael Vick, stay at home. Please and thank you.) and enjoy all that the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium has to offer including performances by The ROAR and D-Line. And, even though I’m mildly afraid of him (Magic Kingdom episode, age 4), I’ll be looking forward to Jaxson de Ville and one of his crazy entrances.
Bring your Jag collectibles too! The team will be briefly signing autographs after the scrimmage. Woo-hoo! Gates open at 6, scrimmage starts at 7:30.
Don’t forget! Jacksonville Jaguar pre-season starts August 22 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It's cool to create a backyard habitat for bees and hummingbirds and butterflies, and is pretty amazing how much life just a small butterfly garden can have. We went to talk to expert Mark from Treehill Nature Center in Jacksonville Florida. Treehill is known for its yearly butterfly festival and Mark knows what plants you need to use. From afar it doesn't look that difficult, but when you take a closer look, you'll realize that kitesurfing takes a lot of coordination. It was a beautiful day at the beach.
