Local Jacksonvillians are passionate about sports and when I say "passionate," I mean we're a little nuts! We are home to the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars (who won this weekend...hurrah!), Double-A Jacksonville Suns and our local rubgy team, the Jacksonville Axemen. We've also shined on national and international stages hosting numerous events, such as Super Bowl XXXIX, collegiate football, basketball and baseball match ups, large-scale golf and fishing tournaments, international rugby league events and more.
As any world-class sports city, we're ready for a new challenge...FIFA World Cup. The United States is supporting a bid for 2018 or 2022 and Jacksonville is eager to be a host city. Help support Jacksonville's bid and sign the following petition today!
